NF-03 / Engineering
From sketch to a part that works
Our engineers design for the machines they sit next to. Fewer iterations, lighter parts and a drawing that a workshop can read.
Good parts start with decisions made early: the material, the process, and which tolerances really matter. Our engineers work on the shop floor, so the design they hand you has already been checked against the machines that will make it.
NF-034 / Services
Engineering that shortens the way to production
- 01
Design for additive
Lattices, consolidated assemblies and internal channels that only printing can make, where they pay off.
- 02
Design for machining
Radii, tolerances and set-ups chosen so the part machines in fewer operations.
- 03
Reverse engineering
A worn or discontinued part scanned, modelled and made again, often better than the original.
- 04
Rapid tooling
Printed jigs, fixtures and short-run moulds that get production started weeks earlier.
NF-03 / Project
How an engineering project runs
01
Kick-off
What the part must do, the loads, the quantities and the budget.
02
Concept
Two or three directions with cost and lead time for each.
03
Prototype
Printed or machined within the week, tested in your equipment.
04
Release
Production drawing and model, ready for us or any workshop.
NF / FAQ
Common questions
Who owns the design?
You do. You receive the native CAD files and drawings, and you are free to produce the part anywhere.
How is engineering priced?
By the hour or as a fixed-price package once the scope is clear. Reverse engineering of a single part usually takes one to three days.
Stuck between idea and drawing? We can help.
Tell us what the part has to do. We reply with an approach, a budget and a timeline.
